Overview
The "#WhyVote USA" campaign is a non-partisan initiative designed to engage first-time voters in the upcoming election. The project aims to create a cohesive campaign that encourages voter participation by highlighting issues that matter to young people.Insights
Research revealed that many first-time voters, especially first-generation college students, feel disconnected from the voting process. Key barriers include the complexity of voter registration and skepticism about voting's impact.
To address these issues, the campaign focused on creating a visually engaging and approachable campaign, developing bold, relatable imagery and messaging to simplify the voting process and highlight its direct impact on issues such as student debt, climate change, and job opportunities
Audience
The target audience is first-time voters, primarily first-generation college students aged 18–24. These young adults face challenges like student debt, job insecurity, and an uncertain future, making voting crucial for shaping their outcomes.
